Smoothx Tools - Connecting Procore

How to connect your Procore account to Smoothx Tools

NOTE - A Red dot indicates Procore Access is disconnected

Connecting your Procore Account

The following steps are require to complete you Procore connnection to Smoothx Tools.

NOTE: The Procore account used to connect to Smoothx Tools MUST have FULL Administration rights.

Procore Access

  1. Log in to your Smoothx Tools account - https://tools.smoothx.com/
  2. Navigate to Settings Screenshot 2025-05-20 125657
  3. Select Procore Access menu
  4. Click Connect to Procore - You will be redirected to Procore Login
  5. Complete Log in to Procore & Allow Access                    
  6.  Select the relevant Procore Company  (It will autosave)

App Installation Required

The Procore Marketplace for Cost+ MUST be installed. The ProScan+ App can be installed separately to access ProScan from inside Procore.

Cost+ is required, even if not a purchased product.

  1.  Click Copy - Smoothx Tools ID 
  2. Click Install App (you will be redirected to Procore Apps)
  3. Click Install App & Install Custom App
  4. Paste the Smoothx Tools ID
  5. Click Install (x2)
  6. Click Close

Configure the Marketplace App

  1. Click Create Configuration 
  2. Check the Global project config & Company level config
  3. Enter Title (Cost+)
  4. Click Create
  5. Return to Smoothx Tools
  6. Click Refesh Status

Enable Webhooks

Webhooks are notifications sent by Procore to Smoothx Tools when data is updated. These are required to ensure Smoothx Tools is up-to-date and aligned with Procore.

  1. Click Enable Auto Update (Webhooks)

  2. All buttons will appear in Red when completed

Your connection is now complete.

You will see a green dot in the Smoothx Tools Menu Bar.
